Photography Studio Hire

Newly refurbished studio space, ideal for commercial or portrait photography.

 

Dimensions: 9m x 7m x 4m high. At one end is a roller shutter door for bringing in large items or even for use as a backdrop.

 

The studio is available by the hour, by the half day or by the full day to professional photographers only.

 

We have a selection of lighting equipment and backdrops available for you to use as well as white brick walls which can be covered in graffiti if required (repainting costs of £20 will apply).

 

The studio has a large window to one side to allow you to work with natural light but is also fitted with a roller shutter and blackout blinds in order to give you complete control over the lighting you choose.

 

We have toilet facilities and a kitchen with a fridge, microwave and drinks machine which you are welcome to use and also a seating area. Just across the road is a brilliant sandwich shop but we cannot take responsibility for any subsequent weight gains.

 

 

Bowens Esprit 500 lighting heads x 2, Bowens Esprit 1000 lighting heads x 2, sync lead, light meter, umbrella, softbox, snoot, barndoors, reflectors, spill kills, honeycombs, various backgrounds and fabric, lighting gels, light stands x 3, Calumet light cube, 12ft wide paper roll and stand and a posing stool together with various other bits and bobs.

 

 

Per Hour: £20

Per Half Day: £50 (4 hours)

Full Day: £100 (8 hours)

 

The booked time needs to be sufficient to leave the studio in "as found" condition.

 

Damage caused directly by the hirer to equipment or the building, such as dropping or pulling over a flash head, will be chargeable at the full repair rate on the day of the hire. General equipment failures such as Flash tubes or electronics failing will not be charged.

 

Cancelled bookings will be charged according to the schedule below :-

 

Less than 48 hours: 100% of the booked time

Between 2 and 4 days: 50% of the booked time

 

The studio is situated a short distance from Darwen town centre.
